  • One Time Registration serves as a platform for gathering candidate information and providing them with a personalized dashboard. It is not an application for any specific post. Candidates interested in applying for a particular position should click "Apply" against the post listed on the Commission's website. They can utilize the same USER ID and PASSWORD provided during the One Time Registration process.

  • Before initiating the one-time registration process, it's essential to scan your signature and a recent passport-size photograph with a blue or white background, ensuring clarity. Save these images in a designated folder as JPG or JPEG files. Ensure that the photograph dimensions are 165 x 125 pixels, with a file size ranging between 30 KB to 40 KB. Similarly, the signature image should have dimensions of 80 x 125 pixels, with a file size ranging between 20 KB to 30 KB, maintaining reasonable image quality.

  • A valid email address and mobile number are essential requirements for one-time registration. It's imperative to ensure that both the email ID and mobile number remain active. TNPSC will exclusively use the registered email ID and mobile number for all communications and messages.

  • Candidates are required to make a payment for the one-time registration process in TNPSC, with a fee of 150. This registration remains valid for the subsequent five years, allowing candidates to utilize the assigned register number for any TNPSC examination during this period.

  • Upon completion of the registration process, applicants will receive a confirmation SMS on their registered mobile number containing their User ID and Password.

After completing the TNPSC one-time registration process, candidates can utilize their registration ID and password to log in and complete the online application form for TNPSC Group 1 by selecting the desired post name. Follow the steps below to fill the TNPSC Group 1 application form:

  • Click on the "Apply online" option located within the "Important Links" page. This action will open the URL tnpscexams.in in a new window. Then, navigate to the "COMBINED CIVIL SERVICES EXAMINATION-I (GROUP-I SERVICES)" section online and proceed to select the "Apply online" option.

  • Carefully enter your login ID and password, then press the “Submit” button. After that, complete the application form with all the required information.

  • You can only pay the application fees online.

  • The application fee for TNPSC Group-1 is Rs.100 for candidates belonging to the general category. Conversely, there is no examination fee applicable for candidates falling under the SC/ST/Widows/PWD/Ex-Servicemen categories.

  • Candidates who qualify in the preliminary examination will be required to pay the application fee again for the mains examination.

  • The application fee for the mains examination is Rs.150 for candidates belonging to the general category. However, candidates falling under the SC/ST/Widows/PWD/Ex-Servicemen categories are exempted from paying the examination fee.

  • The recruitment body also provides a correction facility in any field(s) of the TNPSC Group 1 application form.
